Paul Newman... Robert Redford... can't get any better than that! I mean, they were the Ryan Gossling and Bradley Cooper of the 60's.
What I love about this movie is that it's not about two young bandits just making a name for themselves. They are two guys who have come to the end of their careers, but are having a hard time letting go.
This is definitely something I can relate to as a 20 something out of college. I am at an in-between stage where I feel like I am no longer young enough to do certain things, but I am not old enough to do others. It is a very complicated time, so I can relate to Butch and Sundance. I don't want to let go of my youthful ways, and sometimes I am holding on to them for dear life, but in someways I am looking forward to what growing older means and brings.
